Berkhamsted Hypnotherapist

Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapist

Hypnotherapy at The Naturality Wellness Centre, Berkhamsted

“Now is a great time to change your mind for the better. I’d like to offer you the support to help make those changes easier. Hypnotherapy allows us to communicate directly with the subconscious mind, changing outdated behaviour patterns.”

Peggy Melmoth

Peggy is registered with the Hypnotherapy Association, a leading independent professional body, representing approved hypnotherapists in Britain, and The UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy Organisations. UKCHO is an umbrella organisation promoting the professional regulation of hypnotherapy in the United Kingdom.
Career
“My past career has included working as the payroll officer for Friends of the Earth and six years as the office manager in a music recording studio. In 2002 I qualified as a hypnotherapist and changed direction into NHS administration, entering the health service as a medical secretary and quickly working up to administrative manager of an operating theatre and anaesthetics department. I also undertook a secondment in the hospital PALS service (Patient Advice and Liaison). My NHS experience in patient liaison and confidentiality complemented my hypnotherapy practice, which I developed alongside my day job. Following the birth of my children I became especially interested in the use of hypnosis in childbirth, whilst continuing to treat a variety of issues at my practice in central London.”

Peggy Melmoth began practicing in 2002 at The London practice rooms of the UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences. In 2006 the UK Academy relocated from London’s Baker Street area to The Bloomsbury Practice, in Holborn, WC1. (The UK Academy of Therapeutic Arts and Sciences was founded in 2002 by Fiona Biddle and Shaun Brookhouse. www.ukacademy.org.uk)

In Spring 2011 Peggy relocated to Berkhamsted’s Naturality Wellness Centre, Hertfordshire, but the centre is also very close to both Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. Peggy provides clinical hypnotherapy and hypnosis, and teaches self-hypnosis to empower clients to help themselves. Hypnotherapy can help with stop smoking, weight loss, weight management, stress, anxiety, phobias, insomnia, pregnancy and childbirth. Instead of Hypnobirthing(R) (an American childbirth education program) Peggy provides one to one personalised sessions to enhance the journey from pregnancy into motherhood, including pain management techniques for childbirth.

Now a part of Naturality’s Berkhamsted based holistic team Peggy offers clinical hypnotherapy services from a comfortable consulting room located conveniently on Lower Kings Road, between Berkhamsted’s High Street and Berkhamsted railway station.

The benefits of hypnosis have been extensively scientifically researched over recent years and it has been found to be very effective in improving women’s experience of childbirth.

The Berkhamsted  hypnotherapist at Naturality is conveniently situated close to the local car parking facilities and is a very short walk from Berkhamsted station, which is just over 30 minutes from London, Euston.

The Wellness Centre is easy to get to from the surrounding towns and villages of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire.
